I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the new Batman movie to come out. A long awaited sequel to the favorite of Batman fans, “Batman Begins”. I just checked out the The Dark Knight trailers over at Fandango.com and it looks fantastic. Staring Christian Bale as Batman and Maggie Gyllenhaal as the romantic interest of Bruce Wayne, Rachel Dawes.
The late Heath Ledger, star of Brokeback Mountain, takes on the role of the infamous Joker, with his ghoulish makeup and macabre sense of humor. Thus true to his nature he must bring chaos and plunder to Gotham City.
Just when you thought it was safe in Gotham City along comes the Joker. Batman now faces a new opponent, a ruthless, vicious opponent, who wants to rid Gotham of all that is good. The criminal element is stepping it up a notch. Anarchy, the theme of the day for the Joker who robs banks and blows up Hospitals for the fun of watching the chaos. With the help of the new district attorney Harvey Dent played by Aaron Eckhar, things may turn out well, or not…
Lieutenant Jim Gordon once again played by Gary Oldman is back and so are Batman’s butler Alfred, played by Micheal Cain, and Lucious Fox, Batman’s gadget man, played by Morgan Freeman.
