2010 World Cup Qualifiers, June 10

The qualifying for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa continues on Wednesday with matches around the world.

Fox Soccer Channel will televise three matches from Asia and one from the European zone.

Australia, Japan and South Korea already qualified, and the fourth spot will be determined between North Korea and Saudi Arabia. The third-place finishers in each of the two groups will play each other in a playoff and the winner will face New Zealand for the fifth and final spot.

The match between Finland and Russia in Helsinki is crucial for both teams. Finland’s win would keep them in the  race for their first-ever World Cup appearance.

Germany leads Group 4, Russia is second with a two point advantage over third place Finland.
